In the time I worked with Em, I grew so much as a teacher and a person.

I was able to manage the environment and chaos that the classroom can be some days. Em was my saviour in my grad year!

I really struggled with feeling confident about all of the different aspects to teaching and how to have a work/life balance but Em knew exactly how to walk me through it all at a pace I could comfortably keep up with.

Before working with Em I was taking school home with me every night, which was definitely not sustainable! She always managed to deliver new information so simply that it didn’t overwhelm me at all. Em’s overall approach to teaching, specifically her philosophy around teaching the child before the student, was so insightful. She gave me so much perspective to help understand how my students felt in certain situations and how to best nurture their growth.

One thing I can guarantee is that Em will always give you a laugh and make the transition to teaching as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
